Pluto
is usually the 9th planet in our solar system
(except when it crosses the orbit of Neptune as
it did between 1979 and 1999). A cold, tiny
dark planet, Pluto would fit on top of the
United States with room to spare. It has a
large satellite, Charon, slightly less than 1/2
the size of Pluto itself. As early as 1846,
mathematics suggested a 9th planet, and in 1930,
Pluto was discovered.
When Pluto was
discovered, Astrologers assigned the planet to
Scorpio. Since the planet was discovered when
organized crime was prevalent and during the
period of nuclear research, Pluto rules death,
crime, mass destruction and nuclear power. Its
power is said to be akin to that of the phoenix.
