This permanent magnet, ball bearing motor has more torque at low speed than other flex shaft motors. This feature is ideal for stone setters because all hammer handpieces have to operate at low speed to prevent damage to internal parts and overheating.
The Series LX motors offer the added power needed for low speed jobs like stone setting, wax modeling, and drilling. Series LX motors come with standard 39″ long key tip shafting (shaft & sheath) for connecting to Foredom’s ‘interchangeable’ handpieces, (A Handpiece is needed to complete your Series LX flex shaft power tool).
